If your anything like me every morning I'm trying to think of an easy and quick breakfast. Since I try to workout in the AM I don't want a heavy breakfast on my stomach and I'm getting ready for the Kettlebell Fitness Challenge!
There are many options out there but I'm trying to keep it as nutritional as possible, so that narrows it down a bit.
I am a fan of Protein Shakes, after all they are quick and nutritious - and there are so many options out there for "shaking it up a little".... So this morning I made a delicious breakfast shake I thought I'd share with you. * I'm by no means at all a nutritionist or food scientist but I believe this shake is good for you, loaded with protein, calcium and vitamins.
I think tomorrow I will add a little cinnamon to spice it up a bit.....
1 Cup 2% Milk
1 Scoop of Vanilla Protein Powder
3 Egg Whites (Only the Whites)
2 TBSP Rolled Oats
1 Container of Frozen Vanilla Danino (Yes the kids Yogurt - it's delish and only 70 calories)
*Mix in Blender until very well blended (to be sure you don't have any big pieces of oats)
